We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

Director Origination
This role will be pivotal in developing the conceptualisation of our customer specific solutions and proposals to build, own and operate infrastructure services against long term revenue streams.
You will develop the end-to-end pipeline from initiation through to proposal in pursuit for large scale unregulated energy infrastructure services within renewable energy, large industrial and commercial sectors.
You will be promoting and marketing our brands product and services while maintaining a commercially focussed business development team. If you are a driven, creative, critical thinker and leader we want to hear from you!
Business Performance Manager
An exciting opportunity to join the leadership team and manage the strategic and operational activities of this fast-growing business.
You will lead a high performing, highly motived team, to help you drive the performance of the business into success. Managing supply chain, service agreements, and other key procurement objectives to suit the business needs.
Senior Proposal Manager
This senior management position reports to the commercial director of TNC – a critical role in the commercial team, this role is responsible for closing the deals on our large scale renewable energy development projects across the state.
Commercial Bid & Pricing Analyst
This role sits within the commercial team and is responsible for bringing customer, project and market knowledge to help analyse financial performance data, and identify and implement pricing strategies for our client development projects.
About you
Director Origination - Position Description
You will have a keen eye for scoping and sculpting future market opportunities for growth. With a strong stakeholder engagement know how, and a drive and passion to develop relationships with our major customers, industry stakeholders/agencies and industry bodies.
Experience in the establishment and positioning of a service brand in the energy market, along with a confident commercial, analytical, presentation and deal making expertise.
Business Performance Manager - Position Description
Highly motivated and confident working within large scale infrastructure operations and service delivery scenarios.
A focus on continuous improvement and keen to apply business acumen and critical thinking skills to complex operations.
Senior Proposal Manager - Position Description
You are a self-driven and energetic senior manager who is comfortable leading complex project and program functions within large organisations.
Being a resilient and a strong influencer with solid communication and negotiation skills will be key to your success in this role. Along with creative problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills to support your clients to find the best solutions for their projects.
Commercial Bid & Pricing Analyst - Position Description
You are a confident financial and commercially minded individual with a strong ability to analyse, problem solve and apply this to commercial improvements for clients and the business.
Experience working on large complex projects, and can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of economic influences on products and service offerings. A proven ability to manage commercial pricing models, frameworks and templates with a focus on continuous improvement at the forefront.

We have our head offices at the following locations around Tasmania.
Based in Tasmania’s capital, historic Hobart/nipaluna will be a phenomenal base in order for you to succeed in this role. Based in historic Launceston the successful incumbent have their choice of beautiful locations to reside in. Based in the North West of Tasmania, the successful incumbent will have their choice of beautiful locations to reside in order to take up this role.
